Is there an elevator in Homebound I?

Yes, a passenger elevator for up to 4 people will take you to the upper or lower floor without any effort.

Is there aircondition in the house?

In the apartments Cozy & Comfort Air and Family & Friends Air you can keep a cool head even during the hot summer months. Air conditioning units are installed in the bedrooms and living areas.
In the other apartments, standing fans are provided in the bedrooms.

Where can I park my car?

Always right next to the house. Parking in the homebound is free of charge for our guests.

Where can I shop nearby?

A supermarket for all daily needs can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The best shopping opportunities in Salzburg, whether in the city center or in the Mall Europapark, are only a few minutes away. Please note that most shops close at 19:00 on weekdays and remain closed at all on Sundays.

What is the best way to get to the city center?

With the public bus lines 1 or 8 - the station is just around the corner - it is only about 10 minutes to the center. Alternatively, you can of course also rent one of our bikes for free!

Attention: There is a driving ban in Salzburg city center (except vehicles with a special authorization). That's why it's not a good idea to drive into the city.

Can I smoke in homebound?

No. For the sake of the health of our guests, smoking is strictly prohibited in the homebound. This applies to the rooms and common areas. For security reasons, there are also smoke detectors throughout the house.

Is it possible to do something for my fitness while on vacation?

In the basement we have set up a small but nice gym for you.
High-quality Nhord devices are waiting to make you sweat.
Rowing machines, bicycles, slim beam, wall bars and weights are available.

No sorry, we dont have an elevator in this location!

Can I bring my dog with me?

Yes. Dogs are very welcome. Please always specify when booking.
We charge a cleaning fee of €30 per dog and stay.

Is there aircondition in the house?

Arrival & departure
When can I arrive?

Basically between 15:00 and 22:00. Then your apartment is ready for you. Of course you are welcome to request different times. We will check availability for you. Please do not forget to do the online check-in in advance.

What is quick check-in and why do I have to do it in advance?

Our quick check-in ensures that you can fully enjoy your stay at Homebound from the beginning. You will receive a link 24 hours before your arrival so that you can get all the formalities out of the way in advance. After quick check-in, you will receive a code from us for your apartment door and other useful information for your stay at Homebound. In addition, we carry out the (legally prescribed) guest registration easily and quickly on this way.

How do I get my apartment keys?

Homebound does not use physical keys. We will send you the code for your apartment one day before arrival. Please note that we only send the code after successful check-in.

Until when do I have to leave?

On the day of departure, we ask you to leave your apartment by 10:00. If you want to stay longer, you can of course inquire with us in advance. We will check availability for you.

Can I leave my luggage on the day of arrival or departure?

A lockable room is available in the basement from 7:00 to 19:00, to which all guests receive the access code. There you can store your luggage, but we cannot assume any liability for it.

Do I have to bring my own toiletries?

Our Homebound Body & Wash and Hand Soap is available in every bathroom. Likewise, bed linen, towels, hair dryer ... is prepared for you.

How is the kitchen equipped?

Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. With refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and of course all dishes and cutlery.

Which coffee machines does Homebound use?

All our coffee machines are capsule machines that are suitable for Nespresso capsules.

Is there WiFi?

Of course. At Homebound there is free wireless Internet throughout the house. You will receive the WiFi key at check-in.

What about home entertainment?

Smart TVs are standard in all apartments. There you can easily log in with your own Netflix or Amazon Prime account and continue watching your favorite series.

Is there housekeeping in the homebound?

No. The big advantage of our apartments is that you can feel like home. This also means that a cleaning team does not wake you up at 7 in the morning. If you stay longer and want to use our cleaning service in between, this is of course possible on request. Cleaning products are also available on site if you want to lend a hand yourself.

Are the apartments wheelchair accessible?

That depends. Please inquire directly before booking whether an apartment is available for your very special needs.

Miscellaneous
I stay longer and would like to do my laundry, is that possible?

The launderette in the house with washing machine, tumble dryers and all household detergents is always at your disposal.

Do I have to pay more for additional people?

Our prices apply per apartment and are independent of how many people spend their holidays there. However, the maximum number of people as stated on the website is binding. It is not possible to set up additional beds.

I would like to explore the area by bike. Where can I get one?

Directly at Homebound! You can rent a bicycle from us at any time (provided they are not exactly all rented) and also for free! Please chat with us to get the code.

I have a specific question or need help. Where can I go?

Our locals on site are available for you between 8:00 and 20:00 and will help you as quickly as possible. Simply contact us digitally via WhatsApp, SMS or e-mail. Of course, you can also call very old-fashioned.
